Breath of Hope: We have identified three areas of community outreach:
1)Salkehatchie: How can we assist those in need after Salkehatchie leaves?
2)Bethel Men’s Shelter: Find ways to volunteer and continually support this ministry; and find a Women’s Shelter to support.
3)Those Displaced from Their Homes: Find and support families and individuals displaced by home fires and other catastrophic events.
If you would be interested in volunteering to help plan and implement any of these outreach opportunities, contact Ron Skidmore (text: 803-487-9431 or email: 1970383superbee@gmail.com).
Food Pantry Ministry
The first Sunday of each month we will be collecting non-perishable food items for:
PATH, Inc., in York
We will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishables, as well as toiletry items.
They are now especially needing household paper products (paper towels and toilet tissue).
Please remember to include these items in your shopping to help provide for those families in our community who are in need of assistance.
Contact our church secretary, Ginger Lewis, for a time to drop off your items.
Operation Christmas Child Packing Party:
To prepare for the OCC packing party in the Fall, donations may be placed in the labeled basket

If you'd rather give a monetary donation, please make the check out to Adnah Church, with “OCC” on the note line. Thank you!

Honoring Our Veterans
Adnah UMC Cemetery Veteran Recognition Project
There are currently 41 veterans buried in the Adnah Church Cemetery whose memory we are honoring by placing the flag of the United States of America on their grave on the appropriate national holidays.
We want to ensure that we are honoring all of those who have served our nation in the Armed Forces of the United States.
If you have family, friends, neighbors, or knowledge of a veteran who is buried in the Adnah Church Cemetery, please contact Jeff and Eve Helsel via email to verify that their names are on our list.
If anyone has information on a veteran that is buried in our cemetery, please contact:
Jeff or Eve Helsel (jeffeve@comporium.net) or Jim Goins (jimgoins@comporium.net)
You can also contact the Church Secretary, at (803) 328-1618 to pass along your information.
